From whence they came...

Murdoc: Murdoc Niccals, a very outspoken person, is the leader of the band. It was all his idea. He is a satanist with bad personal hygiene and has a love for vodka, porno, girls, and one-night-stands. He used to be a speed freak, but he's over that. he hates 2-D, and therefore beats him up. Murdoc was born in Stroke-On-Trent on 6/6/66 and is currently 36 years old.

Russel: Russel Hobbs is a 25 year old African American New Yorker. He is possessed by his friend, Del, who was killed in a drive-by shooting. As a result, his eyes have turned a ghostly while color. Russ has a big love for food and is awesome at the drums.

2-D: 2-D is the pretty boy front man of the Gorillaz. He is 23 years of age. He has an amazing voice and is a wizz at the keyboards. He has two dents in his head, hence, his name. Before joining the Gorillaz, he was Stuart Tusspot (We're unsure of his last name, as we have heard many rumours) of Crawly and worked at Uncle Norm's Organ Emporium. Murdoc is his idol. But the beatings he receives from him don't seem to phase him...or help his migraines. 2-D is addicted to painkillers and zombie movies.

Noodle: Noodle is an eleven year old Japanese girl. She fed-exed herself in a wooden crate after Murdoc, 2-D and Russ had put out an add for a guitarist in a magazine articale. They were surprised when Noodle jumped out and started jamming on her guitar. She's been with them ever since.
